Strawberry shortcake
Ingredients
3 self-raising cups Flour
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup cold unsalted butter
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
For the filling
250ml whipping cream (very cold)
1/4 cup icing sugar
Fresh Strawberries
I used homemade buttermilk. Just add 2 teaspoons of white vinegar or freshly squeezed lemon juice to your milk. Then walaaa you have buttermilk
